Animal Crossing New Horizons: The Craziest Predictions of The 2.0 Update

4/13/2021 4:51:56 PM

ACNH has carried out an interesting promotion of its content. New Horizons adds new seasonal content every few months, which gives players enough reason to jump back and continue working on their island.

Considering that Animal Crossing received the version 1.9 update last time, logically speaking, the next update will upgrade it to version 2.0. As we get closer and closer to the rumored 2.0 update, there have been many problems surrounding it.

When to look forward to the 2.0 update?

Many Animal Crossing fans are a little disappointed by the game's first anniversary. Despite the continuous addition of content and events, almost nothing was done to celebrate this year's milestones. Now, people have turned their attention to the 20th anniversary of the series of movies, and a major content update (2.0 patch) has been carried out.

The series will celebrate its 20th anniversary within two days on April 14. If Nintendo plans to make some grand plans, now is the time. However, there is no news about this update. Nintendo has confirmed the April event calendar, so the situation does not look optimistic in this regard.

Will it happen? Of course. is it possible? I am not sure.

What to expect from the 2.0 update?

Even if it does not appear within a few days, the Animal Crossing 2.0 update will be a big update. Whenever the number of updates to any game reaches a major milestone, you can guarantee to add some new features.

In the past, many fans have been asking for three main things, hoping that these updates can be implemented in 2.0.

1. New villagers. Despite the recent collaboration with Sanrio, game fans are still eager to meet new friends and island residents. Some villagers have been added recently, but the community always wants more.

2. Brewster is a resident we have seen in the game before, and is closely related to the return in New Horizons. The resident runs a coffee shop called The Roost. Here, players can buy a cup of 200 ACNH bells per day. Roost Coffee Shop is a place that will soon be popular with fans. Roost is a place where players and villagers can taste dark beer or even work part-time. Fans have felt its absence in New Horizons, so I hope we can hear about it in the 2.0 update. The return of the coffee shop can also herald the return of mini-games and characters on the island with donuts and sandwiches.

3. Tortimer's island is another feature that New Leaf fans have always wanted in New Horizons. Normally, Tortimer is not in the game, so the 2.0 update seems to be the perfect time to bring him back and allow players to play mini-games on his island again. After you have paid off your mortgage, you can take a boat to Summer Island in Tortimer. The only season on the island is summer. As a result, you can catch seasonal bugs and fish here. In addition, we saw a series of mini-games, such as hide and seek and diving competitions.

In the end, we did not see too many building upgrades. One such example is Nook's Cranny. Compared to the last two upgrades in New Horizons, the store has been upgraded four times in New Leaf.

So far, Nintendo has done a great job keeping the game fun. Do you want to see any of these elements added to the game? Keep following us.
