haku is the armor smith master. he is the one that you go to in order to craft most things onto your poe helmet, gloves, boots, and body armour. in our previous article - path of exile master haku guide, we have talked about haku’s missions. by complete the missions, you can earn more reputation to unlock more crafting services. even still, haku’s missions are very worth doing for two types of crafts in particular. as you level up, more crafting options will be unlocked.

by placing a crafting bench in the coastal hideout you are ready to start crafting. at the crafting bench you can craft every mod for your gears that is unlocked via helping master haku, as well as through exploration. recipes that are unlocked are shared account wide. the crafting bench lets you add one modifier to an item by cost a poe currency item. in order to add a modifier to a poe item you must follow these two rules:
- item cannot have an affix of that type already
- item must have prefix and suffix open
