marauder is a good character for you, what's called juggernaut which is a defense oriented tank, then it could transform into the berserker which is a high damage and low defense unit auric and a sense of chieftain, which is a fire damaged tank with totems. now the ranger is like the archer, it gives you the option to shoot projectiles from a distance, so very agile very fast but very squishy, it's gonna lack that strength to take damage.

ranger

- attribute: dexterity

- ascendancy classes: deadeye, raider, and pathfinder

ranger’s dexterity can increase the speed of his own attack and moves. in addition, ranger can ascend into deadeye which is fast and hard to hit with high damage, raider which is a buff specialist and in pathfinder which is a flexible flash specialist. the ranges is like an archer keep a safe distance but still do a lot of damage for your team.

the witch uses her intelligence to gain arcane powers and uses them in weapons like the wand or the scepter. witch is like a dark mage, so she's able to use elemental and dark arts to cast spells on unit. her ascendancy classes is going to be your necromancer which is our minions and lots of minions, so you're going to be able to summon a lot of spawn units around you to help you attack similar to the necromancer, in diablo you can turn into a elementalists which is standard elemental mage with golems.

the witch can specialize into 3 different descendants ease the elementalist which focuses on improving her powers with anything elemental. the occultist which focuses on occult stuff. and the necromancer ascendancy which is the number one go to ascendancy for any aspiring witch out there wants to raise the dead and make them do her bidding for her.

duelist

- main attributes: strength and dexterity

- ascendancy classes: slayer, gladiator, and champion

duelist is chaos damage and curse specialists, struggling with swords and axes, so she kind of reminds me of the necromancer and a witch doctor inside of diablo, so gives you something inside of the type of character. duelist is a of strength and dexterity, it gives you a quick fighter who can dodge very well and deal a lot of damage to opponents, so it's a well-rounded character. and the duelists can turn into well, he has some really cool combinations like the fact that you could do two handed weapon attacks you can eventually become a tank and be able to taunt and defend against units.

shadow

- attributes: dexterity and intelligence

- ascendancy classes: assassin, saboteur, and trickster

shadow is very lethal character that combines strong parts of dexterity and intelligence mob, they use blades with surgical precision and they're very fast and they're able to outmaneuver the fastest agile of beasts.

scion

attributes - strength, dexterity, and intelligence

ascendancy classes - ascendant

this is the most flexible class in the choice of skills as it starts at the center of the passive skills tree. with heiress, you can choose the skills you like and enjoy various combinations.
