Rocket League’s 5th Anniversary Event Is Coming - Golden Eggs, Rewards, Dates, Modes & More

You’ve probably been very excited to hear about all of the new items have come to Rocket League with the new moments series, but the news doesn’t stop, we have more now! It’s indeed Rocket League’s 5th anniversary on July 7th which will feature golden eggs, limited time modes and an event shop. So we will be having a nice two week long in-game event starring June 30th for two weeks, and you will have some game modes. So today we’ll talk about everything you need to know about the upcoming Rocket League 5th anniversary event!

New Anniversary Event On Rocket League - Items & Rewards

Beginning June 30 when the event goes live, you'll start earning a new currency called “Balloons” from Online Matches. Spend those Balloons in the Event Store and unlock brand new Psyonix- and Rocket League-inspired items. From the new Psyonix II Wheels to the Party Horn Boost, check out all the items from the event in the slideshow below.

Golden Eggs Are Back To Rocket League!

These new items aren't the only thing in the Event Store. Golden Eggs are on their way back, and they contain items from Champions Series 1, 2, 3, and 4! You’ll be able to buy 5 golden eggs in the Event Shop, and actually to buy things in the Event Shop you have to play games. The golden eggs will cost 150 balloons. Plus, if you still have extra Balloons, you can exchange them for XP Packs to Tier Up your Rocket Pass. 

Limited Time Modes

In addition to the Event Store, the classic Spike Rush and 2v2 Heatseeker Limited Time Modes will be featured throughout the Fifth Anniversary Event. Check out the start, end, and Redemption period dates below:

- Spike Rush: June 30 at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC) (Event Begins) - July 6 at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC)

- 2v2 Heatseeker: July 6 at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC) - July 13 at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC) (Event Ends)

- Redemption period: July 13 at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC)  - July 16 at 2 p.m. PDT (9 p.m. UTC)
