Animal Crossing New Horizons Sanrio Update - New Sanrio Villagers, Items Revealed

Nintendo has just dropped a surprise trailer for the next update for Animal Crossing New Horizons, this is a trailer for the Sanrio update coming to ACNH in March. It brings back all of the Sanrio villages (Rilla, Étoile, Marty, Chai, Chelsea, Toby) with all of the different Sanrio items (Little Twin Stars, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kerokerokeroppihich). These 6 new Sanrio-themed villagers were introduced in Animal Crossing New Leaf and they're making a comeback since the Sanrio Collaboration Pack of amlibo cards are getting reprinted on March 26. Now let’s get straight into all the details that you need to know about ACNH Sanrio Crossover update!

1. Hello Kitty - Rilla

Rilla is the hello kitty character and with her, you'll be able to get a bunch of different hello kitty-themed items for Sanrio update. There is also new rugs, so these are brand new items to ACNH they were not in Animal Crossing New Leaf. It does seem like most of the items are the same ones that we got in the Animal Crossing New Leaf update back in 2016. These items are all brand new to New Horizons, so this is a pretty substantial item update and even if you don't like Sanrio some of these items are just really cool on their own. More exciting than new items is new villages, that's the kind of content people have really wanted from ACNH. Even though they're not brand new but it's really good to have them back in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

2. Pompoppurin - Marty

Marty is a Lazy personality Cub villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons inspired by Pompompurin from Sanrio. All of his different food themed items look really cool. The Animal Crossing New Horizons upgrade really shows with these characters, these items and these characters look so low quality in New Leaf compared to New Horizons. So it's good that they've made the leap and they're finally here.

3. Cinnamoroll - Chai

Chai is a Peppy personality Elephant villager in Animal Crossing New Horizons inspired by Cinnamoroll from Sanrio. She is with the cinnamon roll sort of promotion. Some of these items are just so cool looking and they'd work really well for an outdoor or indoor kind of cafe. That little umbrella stand thing would go really great on the beach, so some really neat new items here. Her house design is a little bit strange, things are all over the place. She's just moved in and that hood is incredible, also that rug really great, obviously the rugs are actually brand new items in ACNH that you can buy from Goldkk at an affordable price.

4. My Melody - Chelsea

Chelsea is a Normal personality Deer villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons inspired by My Melody from Sanrio. Loads of people are gonna love these new rug and a bunch of really cute my melody-themed furniture, they are really pink and cute and they're great. When you actually finally get the update and you can see them for yourself.

5. Keroppi - Toby

Toby is a Smug personality Rabbit villager in both Animal Crossing New Horizons inspired by Kerokerokeroppi from Sanrio. His items are so good, the karaoke items are really incredible, the shoji bench at the back is so cool, that red zen bridge and the lanterns are unique. If you have a Japanese-themed island these Sanrio items are gonna go so well. What's even better about Animal Crossing New Horizons is you can put these items outdoors. His wallpaper and his flooring are just so cool.

6. Little Twin Stars - Étoile

Étoile is a Normal personality Sheep villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons inspired by Kiki & Lala from Sanrio. She has such great furniture ACNH items, a new rug and they're really great. In Animal Crossing New Leaf, she and Chia were the fan-favorite, though all of them were just beloved so the fact that they're coming back to the game is just going to make so many people happy.
