Finally, we have some good news about Animal Crossing New Horizons. we do have some information about the next update and even a bit more of a mysterious comment from Nintendo about the future of Animal Crossing. without further ado, let's get straight into it!
ACNH August Weekly Fireworks Confirmed
We are at the end of all the content that was added in the most recent 1.10 update and we have for months now. we have been waiting for any sign of a future update. what's going to happen to New Horizons, no one has known, but finally today Nintendo has pretty much announced the next update in a tweet that just says a free update is coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons on July 29th and to tell us to ensure we have the updated late to the latest version to get access to the upcoming fireworks festivals in August. we know this fireworks festival happens every Sunday. we knew this update was going to come this week, but it seems that for the moment at least this update will only add the fireworks festival, which we guessed, and a few new seasonal items. it's kind of the lesser side of the update that we were expecting. we knew this would be the bare minimum, but it is good news that it has arrived, they haven't let us down, and also which is kind of unexpected.
ACNH New Development - Possible Brewster Return & More
Nintendo Of America followed up the tweet with another tweet saying “in addition to these updates, more free content for Animal Crossing New Horizons is currently in development for later this year, more information will be shared in the future, please stay tuned, thank you for your support and patience!” well, this again is very mysterious, but it does confirm Animal Crossing New Horizons is far from finished. we're probably talking about a full update and most likely we will start to see new special characters like Brewster. that's probably going to be what they're aiming for. we don't know if Nintendo had this plan originally or if this is based on community feedback, but clearly, they have something else in development and we will see it later in the year.
ACNH New Seasonal Items Revealed In August Update 2021
We can also now rest easy knowing we can enjoy the fireworks festival throughout August now. Quickly we can add that we do know some of the items that will be available in the update. thanks to the article on the Japanese website that we will be getting some new handheld items at Redd's lottery stand including cotton candy, a Popsicle, and an awesome new drink, they look great and fun. that's something else to look forward to. also, some of these seasonal items we know about include an eventful Obon, which is said to be when the ancestors return and we'll be able to get two items for this event running from August the 10th through to August 16th including the cucumber horse, and the eggplant cow. furthermore, we have a mid-autumn festival, which it looks like adds even more food items.
ACNH Events Return Confirmed In The Future
There's lots more stuff to look forward to. they are also bringing back the grape harvest festival, which is some of the returning items from last year, there is a lot to look forward to in this update. it's only a few small items and we can also look forward to something else towards the end of the year. probably in a couple of months probably going to be talking around September, October. they could be talking about the Halloween update maybe the next content. that's in development will come around Halloween.
