To celebrate the kick-off of FIFA World Cup 2022, a special Nike FC Cup Event will be rolled out in Rocket League, in which you will be able to obtain new items and free rewards by playing online matches, as well as an international competition - Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup will be hold and Nike FC Showdown Limited Time Mode will be added! There's no rule that says a car can't play football, right? It makes a lot more sense for Rocket League to celebrate the world cup than games like Call of Duty and it will do so with Nike's FC Cup event where we can earn lots of rewards and a new Showdown game mode.
The Nike FC Cup Limited Time Event in question will kick off on November 17, when the free game will be updated with a series of challenges that will reward players with Nike federation stickers for dozens of nations. From November 30, however, the limited-time mode Nike FC Showdown will be introduced, which will take place in the Nike arena version of Champion's Field and will propose 4 vs 4 clashes with a ball marked with the brand logo and some active modifiers concerning the maximum speed and bounce of the ball. Obviously, there will be some news in the store, since it will be possible to buy the Nike CR7 Pack, inside which you will find objects inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo's Mercurial shoes.
Before leaving you to the trailer of the event, we remind you that the event will remain active until December 6, 2022, the last day on which it will be possible to complete the challenges and receive free rewards.
When does Nike's FC Cup Rocket League event start and when does it end? This event will be divided into two, and there are new Rocket League items and special activities will be introduced into the game in each release. Here is the schedule for the entire event:

Challenges and Country Decals
In the first phase of the event, a series of challenges will come to Rocket League that will reward us with more than 40 decals from different countries. We will have to complete these challenges by playing Chaos, Dropshot, Snowy Day, and Basketball matches. We can also get a golden egg that unlocks items from series 1 to 4 championships. Both the Nike FC challenges will be available from November 17 to December 6.
Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup
As of November 17, we will be able to register on the Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup site and choose a country. Doing so will unlock the player title "Footy Fanatic" and we can start earning points. The Rocket League Nike FC Cup Fan Clash will begin on Thursday, November 17 at 12:00 p.m. (Colombia, Peru and Ecuador time) and will end on Wednesday, November 30 at 9:00 p.m.
Nike FC Showdown Limited Time Mode
In this new 4vs4 game mode, two teams go head to head with a Nike ball and a modified mutator setup. The new ball will curve in the air depending on how you hit it, with a higher top speed and low bounce setting. These changes mean the ball will spend more time on the ground and it will be easier to dribble with the front of the car than the hood. By playing this mode we will get to know the new arena Champions Field (Nike FC).
