How to make this Black Blade Burn build work

There are three ways we can do destined death, we have the blade of death which comes from the Black Knife, and that is this ranged arcing shot that has hyper armor on it, so you can actually trade in both PvE and PVP with that, and it is an incredible quick even faster in this patch ash of war,  then we have destined death which is part of the Maliketh's Black Blade boss weapon, this is a three-part attack where you do a swing around and hit then they slam down and hit and then, of course, the explosion which actually does the dust and death effect, lastly, we have the incantation which also comes from the boss hole of Maliketh's Black Blade which is a two-part attack, there's the first part of that attack combo, the second part which sends out the ranged shot quite like Maliketh does to you in the fight, so we have three options for destined death and getting that 20 stacks so why don't we try a build that uses all three as it turns out this is really effective and very fun in PVP, because you have the mix-ups of your slower colossal sword which again those are better in this current patch when you're two-handing them, they attack faster, they deal more damage, and you can even block for more.

  • Carian Filigreed Crest

For Carian Filigren Crest you need to defeat the Bloodhound Knight in the Limgrave Evergael. Don't need to summon Blaidd but do need to exhaust his dialogue afterwards. Otherwise Iji will sell it once you've finished Nockron. The Carian Filigreed Crest talisman becomes available from Iji after you either bring Ranni the Fingerslayer blade as part of her questline, or after you make friends with Blaidd and kill Bloodhound Knight Darriwil.

  • Sacred Scorpion Charm

  • Flock's Canvas Talisman

  • Shard of Alexander

The Shard of Alexander is a standard one at any point in the game, you can just go complete the alexander storyline and at the end, you will 1v1 alexander and when you defeat him he will give you the shot.

Final Tips

Here's a weapon set up for faith builds. Have at least 40 faith or higher, get 2 Thrusting Swords, and infuse them with Flame Art. Get the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia and Millicent's Prosthesis, Fire Scorpion Charm, Old Lord's Talisman or Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, Thorny Cracked Tear; and Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear. Use Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength, and your Flask of Wonderous Physick. Of course, don't forget to upgrade both Thrusting Swords of your choice equally and as high an upgrade as possible for the faith scaling that is applied to your weapon with Flame Art applied. Have fun doing ridiculous amounts of damage in a short time frame. (This is also quite effective with Greatswords, as the stagger is quite useful for getting those hits in more reliably and has better base damage than Thrusting Swords.)
