Here goldkk.com brings you the POE Legion fossils guide features drop location, POE 3.7 fossil crafting,  Dense Fossil farming, and Dense Fossil nerf in 3.7 league.

Path of Exile 3.7 Legion Fossils Guide - POE Fossils Drop Location

The fossils can only drop from the Azurite Mine, which contains six common biomes, the fossils will drop according to your current biome, each biome has different monsters, encounters, and common fossil drops. A city biome is probably to spawn better loot and rare boss, but it's difficult and rarely. Some valuable fossils can only spawn behind Fractured Walls, you need to destroy the Fractured Walls with Dynamite then you can access the fossil spawn location, some certain fossils can only be obtained from the special Delve nodes labeled “Contains Fossils”.

POE Fossil Spawn Locations (biomes)

Mines: Metallic Fossil, Serrated Fossil, Pristine Fossil, Aetheric Fossil

Fungal Caverns: Dense Fossil, Aberrant Fossil, Perfect Fossil, Corroded Fossil, Gilded Fossil

Petrified Forest: Bound Fossil, Jagged Fossil, Corroded Fossil, Sanctified Fossil

Path of Exile 3.7 Legion Fossils Guide - POE 3.7 Fossil Crafting Tips

- Dense Fossil, Shuddering Fossil and Sanctified Fossil can be used to craft a Vaal Regalia as per the current order.

- One of the best way to get an 800+ Energy Shield Vaal Regalia is to simply slam an Item Level 86+ version repeatedly with single socket Resonators and Dense Fossils

- Pristine Fossil and Prismatic Fossil with 3-socket Resonators can bring the highest return for crafting Stygian Vise safely.

- +3 Gems Bow is popular because it can cost less and sells for much more, you'd better start with a base of item level 83 or higher when you crafting POE +3 bow.

Path of Exile 3.7 Legion Fossils Guide - POE 3.7 Dense Fossil Farming

POE Fossil farming is common in the new league, you can make POE currency through it as fossils can be sold with a considerable price, but before that, you need to understand and learn the drop locations, spawn rates and farming methods of the required fossils to ensure it is crafted efficiently.

How to farm Dense Fossil in POE 3.7?

1. Buy Dense Fossil from Niko (sometimes sold by Niko the Mad for 1 000 Azurite)

2. As a drop from the Fungal Cavern or Petrified Forest Biomes

Path of Exile 3.7 Legion Fossils Guide - POE 3.7 Dense Fossil Nerf

- The Dense Fossil can no longer craft increased Armour, Evasion or Energy Shield suffix modifiers and now has new mods it can craft on each slot.

- The Dense Fossil modifier 15% increased Energy Shield from Body Armour was incorrectly acting multiplicatively with other sources of increased Energy Shield. This has been fixed and affects all existing items with this modifier. To partially (but intentionally not entirely) compensate for this change, it now grants 20-30% increased Energy Shield from Body Armour. Existing items with this modifier can be updated to the new values with a Divine Orb
