How to Design ACNH Island Entrance - Animal Crossing Entrance Design Tips & Ideas

3/6/2021 3:02:46 PM

When you start designing your island in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can begin with adding basic decoration to the square and the entrance just outside of the airport. These locations are ideal for a variety of reasons, first, they are the first thing people will see when they arrive at your Island and a good first impression will set the tone for the rest of their visit, this also guarantees that your visitors will see whatever you build here. Secondly, neither of these structures can be moved, so there's a very good chance they will remain unchanged even after you unlock the ability to move structures or further down the line terraforming. Another thing to note is that everyone has access to these two areas regardless of how far you've progressed in the game making them the most accessible place.

Then how to design the entrance of your island in ACNH? Here are some tips for ACNH entrance designs.

- Do not be afraid to experiment, sometimes you can't plan it all out and you just have to make it see if it feels right and tweak it as you go along.

- Design a unique welcome sign with exquisite text, unique typeface, and patterns, showing your name, island name, or welcome slogan.

- Having a sitting area is also really nice especially when you're trading or waiting for someone.

- Add some ACNH custom designs such as spring path, stone path, combine with other Animal Crossing items in the game, you can also use the design codes from other players.

- Fences can not only help you enclose the entrance area and distinguish the entrance from other parts of the island, but also make the landscape categorical.

- When the entrances are really close to the Resident Services, you can choose to hidden or show off the building. If you want to hide it, you can use trees, diagonal bridges, or statues in front of the Resident Services. If you want to show it, place several floor tiles or custom paths on the way to the Resident Services.
