ACNH August Summer Update 2021 - New Events, Items & Critters In Animal Crossing New Horizons

August is currently said to be a pretty slow month with no events. We are in the middle of July, almost head to August, actually, there is an August update, as well as a 1.11 update, which is coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons soon. Here is the ACNH August update 2021 guide highlighting the August events, items, and critters that we know about but are not yet available in the game.

ACNH August Summer Update 2021 - New Seasonal Events, Items & Critters In Animal Crossing Update

The final ACNH item is the rodeo-style springy ride in honor of the Brazilian Cowboy Festival event. This seasonal event was back in Animal Crossing New Horizons and will be started from July 15 to August 15. Rodeo-style springy ride distributed through the nook stop item is still available through to August 15. However, this marks the end of all of the content that was added in the April update. This means we are getting a new version update anytime soon in the next month. What can you expect from the next Animal Crossing New Horizons August summer update 2021?

 

ACNH August Firework Festival (Firework Show)

Start: July 15 - August 15

August sees one reoccurring holiday in Animal Crossing New Horizons called the Fireworks Show or Fireworks Festivals. Essentially the island gathers together and attends the show every Sunday night throughout the entire month. These times are the same for both the northern and southern hemispheres. The main attraction is the fireworks that go off for most of the evening, moreover, you can submit custom patterns and designs of fireworks by speaking to Isabelle. During Animal Crossing Firework Festival event 2021, Isabelle, Redd and the Able Sisters offering new content and items, Isabelle finally steps out of her office and offers players a random bopper (Heart Bopper, Star Bopper, Flower Bopper, Bulb Bopper). It's possible to get other Bopper by visiting other people's islands during the Fireworks Shows! However, if your time travels back to 2020, the fireworks festival isn't available for 2021.

Redd's Raffel

Start: August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

Start from 7:00 to 12:00 every Sunday in August, Redd sneaks onto the island to operate a Raffle Stand where you have to interact with the Raffel Box to pay 500 ACNH bells for a ticket after that players can win several random hand-held items(Sparkler (1-Time Use), Blue Sparkler (1-Time Use), Fountain Firework (1-Time Use), Bubble Blower (1-Time Use, Stack of 5), Uchiwa Fan, Pinwheel, Tweeter, Blue Balloon (Disappears on Tripping), Red Balloon (Disappears on Tripping), Yellow Balloon (Disappears on Tripping), Yellow Balloon (Disappears on Tripping), Pink Balloon (Disappears on Tripping).


Items:

  • Sparkler, Blue Sparkler, Fountain Firework, Bubble Blower, Uchiwa Fan, Pinwheel, Tweeter, Blue Balloon, Red Balloon, Yellow Balloon, Yellow Balloon (Disappears on Tripping), Pink Balloon (Disappears on Tripping)

 

The Able Sisters

Start: August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

The able sisters also join in with the Firework Show in ACNH 1.11 August update celebrations. She offers exclusive clothing items including the Casual Kimono (Green, Aqua, Dark Blue, Mustard) and the Kabuki-Actor Yukata (Aqua, Pale Green, Dark Blue) outfit which are available in multiple designs. Fortunately, the able sisters' clothing items are already available during the fireworks and can be purchased with cheap ACNH bells.

Flick's Bug-Off Event (Northern Hemisphere)

Start: August 29

It is one of the unique events celebrated in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the day of August 29, and it is called the Bug-Off. Northern Hemisphere players will have it from June to September and Southern Hemisphere players will have it from November to February. During this event, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Bug-Off minigame, Flick will be around in the Resident Services plaza from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and players have to catch as many bugs as they can within 3 minutes in order to win points and, presumably, prizes.

Cowherd and The Weaver Girl Event & Items

It seems Firework show is the only event that takes place in August, but we still can expect seasonal celebrations and items added to the game last year. In honor of the seasonal August ACNH Cowherd and Weaver girl day events that start on August 25, the Orihime Outfit and the Hikoboshi Outfit are exclusive items that cost 2,500 ACNH bells, and are available from the nook stop. Cowherd and the Weaver Girl is an Event. July 7 is the month of the lunar calendar Chinese Tanabata, on this day, a group of magpies will build a bridge to let the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl reunite for one day, so it is also called the Cowherd and Weaver Girl day.

Here we are bringing you new fish, bugs and deep sea creatures in Animal Crossing New Horizons for the entire month of August. Not only we will take care of the player in the southern hemisphere, but also in the northern hemisphere.
