missions

poe master cartographer can be encountered in the wild on all maps (referring to the map opened by the eternal labyrinth). when encountering zana, she will give you a selection of randomly rolled maps to choose from, each with different missions. each map will be magic, rare or unique, may have quality, and may be unidentified and/or corrupted.

the master cartographer upgrades 1 level, the quality of the map adds 1% automatically.

zana will provide a personal map device, which offers the ability to add an extra effect to the map at time of activation.

these map modifiers also give the player a chance of finding applicable league-specific path of exile unique items in the map
